Gamma Delta Sigma is a local organization of women. The local chapter at Virginia Tech was founded in August of 2008 by two motivated and determined girls, Jeannie Fry (Conowingo, MD) and Meredith Vallee (Coventry, RI). These women were determined to create an organization that encouraged others of all ages and backgrounds to be proud of who they are and develop the bonds of sisterhood with fellow members.

Since that first semester, Gamma Delta Sigma has continued to grow. Each semester new members join the organization and continue to develop this wonderful group of women who strive to bring friendship and compassion to the Virginia Tech community.
